Fianna Fáil has chosen its candidates for the 2016 general election in Cork South Central. There are some familiar names in the mix.

Members decided last night to put party leader Micheál Martin and Michael McGrath on the ballot next year.

The selection convention in Cork's Kingsley Hotel was chaired by the party's transport spokesperson, Timmy Dooley.

We are set to go to the polls sometime in April 2016.
