Fianna Fáil Senator Lisa Chambers will step in as special guest host of The Hard Shoulder this evening.
The former Mayo TD is the third politician to front the show during the Oireachtas recess – with Sinn Féin’s Eoin Ó Broin and Fine Gael’s Regina Doherty taking the reins in recent weeks.
“I’m a big fan of listening to The Hard Shoulder for a round-up of the day's main news and events so I’m very excited to be on the other side of the microphone for a change and to be the one asking the questions,” said Senator Chambers.
“I’m not afraid of a robust exchange of views myself, so I look forward to bringing a bit of that to the programme.”
