A Fianna Fáil TD has made new claims of inappropriate comments by the former Garda confidential recipient.
Oliver Connolly was sacked last week after the leak of a transcript where he told a whistleblower that the Minister for Justice would 'go after him'.
Now Fianna Fáil TD John McGuinness has claimed that Mr Connolly made questionable remarks to another whistleblower, this time a female and asked Justice Minister Alan Shatter to recall Mr Connolly to answer questions about his performance.
Mr McGuinness claimed that Mr Connolly had warned a woman that the last person to use the confidential recipient facility was now washing cars in Navan.
Mr McGuinness went on to ask Alan Shatter to ask Mr Connolly if he had told a whistleblower to "play the political game" to get preferential treatment at a later date.
