US-headquartered financial services company Fidelity Investments is to create 100 new jobs in Ireland.
The firm says the vast majority of the new roles are software engineers.
The new positions will be based in both Galway and Dublin.
The company says the recruitment drive is part of its commitment to clients, and their changing needs during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and beyond.
Al Riviezzo, general manager of Fidelity Investments Ireland, says: "Fidelity Ireland continues to provide critical technology and operations support to the firm.
"All of our 1,100-strong workforce are working from home across Ireland and ready to welcome new colleagues to support our expanding need for tech skills and talent we have based here in Ireland".
Fidelity says it is offering "expedited hiring, virtual on-boarding and training processes", as well as wide-ranging work-from-home flexibility.
The company also recently announced supports and benefits focused on time, flexibility and new care services for employees - including time needed to manage unexpected homelife events and COVID-19 screening.
"We understand that these are very uncertain times, however, Fidelity Investments is a dynamic company which allows us protect our existing staff and look to fill a significant number of roles within our business", says Conor McDonnell, head of human resources at Fidelity Investments Ireland.
"We want to assure people considering a new job or career change that Fidelity Investments continues to actively recruit and hire for several critical roles and is accelerating hiring in key tech areas.
"New employees will experience a safe and enhanced on-boarding process."
