A fifth person has been arrested in the North in connection with the stabbing of a man in east Belfast over the weekend.

21 year old James Stitt from the east Belfast area died after being stabbed on Saturday evening in Castlereagh Place.

A 29 year old woman has now been detained in connection with the incident.

Four others - a woman and three men - are also being questioned.

The PSNI is appealing to anyone with any information about the stabbing to come forward.
