The final chapter in the Mahon Tribunal report has been published
A final report and recommendations were published in March 2012, however this last chapter was delayed over concerns it might prejudice ongoing criminal trials.
The case concerned businessman Jim Kennedy, who was accused of bribing Dublin councillors over land rezoning in Crickmines, Dublin.
Last week the case collapsed and the jury was discharged at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, after it emerged that the main prosecution witness, former government lobbyist Frank Dunlop, is in poor health.
