The Minister for Finance met the Chairperson of the Revenue Commissioners this evening to discuss payment methods for the property tax.
It follows confusion and controversy over card payment options - that will see some people paying this month for the tax that’s due in 2014.
Revenue’s due to publish information notices in the national papers tomorrow.
Revenue officials say they will also continue to engage with the broadcast media on the matter.
It follows widespread criticism of the payments system.
Retailers have said it will make people afraid to spend money in the run up to Christmas.
