Fine Gael will launch a plan later in Dublin to tackle the cost of living.

As part of the party's ‘make work pay’ plan, the existing outdated Jobseekers Allowance scheme will be overhauled and replaced by a new Working Age Payment.

The event will be attended by Ministers Helen McEntee, Paschal Donohoe and Peter Burke.

Fine Gael leader Simon Harris is also due to canvass in the capital today on the final weekend of the election campaign.
