A tree in the English village of Chiddingstone which fell down in the Christmas storms has mysteriously managed to get itself back up.
Donna Bruxner-Randall said the 40-foot Fir tree came down in the middle of the night in the Christmas Eve storm, but a couple of weeks ago she found it back up.
She says it happened in the middle of the night, and believes a second blast of stormy weather must have pushed the tree back up again.
“The tree was on my land but fell down onto the farmer’s (Tom Day) land next door,” she said.
Since the tree has 'replanted' itself, her husband has attached two steel cables to two other trees for safety to try and keep it up.
