A fire, which broke out at a house in Galway city earlier this morning, has been brought under control.
The blaze started at a house in Tirellan Heights in the Terryland area at around 6:15am.
Four units of the fire service battled the blaze, which was extinguished before 8am.

The Galway City Fire Service says there was no one in the house at the time.
No injuries have been reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
