Fire-fighters are battling gorse fires on Howth Head in Dublin. The alarm was raised at about 6am this morning.
Six units of Dublin Fire Service have been tasked to the scene and are currently battling the blaze.
There are no reports of any injuries.

Meanwhile, a large gorse fire in the Carrigduff area of Mallow in Co. Cork was brought under control in the early hours of this morning.
Fire crews from Mallow, Cork City and Kanturk extinguished the fire shortly after 2am.
