A large fire at an industrial unit in north Dublin that had been burning for over 12 hours has been extinguished.

The alarm was raised just after 8pm last night at the Killougher Industrial Estate in Naul.

Six units of the Dublin fire brigade, along with 25 personnel, attended the scene.

The blaze was brought under control for a short period - but rekindled this morning.

No one was injured in the blaze and gardai are now investigating.
