€2,000 of fireworks have been seized following the search of a house in Shannon in Co Clare.
Detectives carried out the planned search of the house in the Rossbracken estate yesterday afternoon as part of Operation Tombola.
No arrests were made and the investigation is ongoing.
Parents warned
Parents are being urged to supervise their children tonight - who may be attending Halloween bonfire events.
In Dublin alone, the fire service attended to over 650 callouts this time last year.
Fireworks and bangers also pose a danger - with many children sustaining injuries and even losing limbs.
