The funeral of Dublin teenager Max Wall will take place this morning in Donnybrook.
The service will begin at 11am at The Church of the Sacred Heart, followed by the burial at Kilternan Cemetery Park.
The 18-year-old died last week on the Greek island of Ios during a Leaving Cert holiday.
His family said “the world has lost a little colour” following his death.
“Max, with a larger-than-life personality, brought great joy to the lives of his family and friends and everyone he came in contact with,” they said.
“During his short time, he faced numerous challenges that he bore with great courage and bravery and always remained his most positive sunny fun filled self.”
Hundreds of flowers have been left at St Michael's College in Ballsbridge in memory of Mr Wall and Andrew O’Donnell, another student who died in a separate incident in Ios.
The funeral of Mr O’Donnell will take place in The Church of the Sacred Heart on Wednesday at 11am, followed by a private cremation.
