Five people have been arrested after a gun and ammunition were seized in Dublin. 

Gardaí found the weapon and bullets during searches at a house in Saggart yesterday.

Investigators also uncovered a small quantity of suspected cannabis and diazepam.

Five men aged in their teens, 20s and 40s were arrested and are being held at Garda Stations in west Dublin.

The scene has been sealed off for technical examination.
