Five young men are appearing at Omagh Magistrates Court - charged in connection with the death of Monaghan teenager Jason McGovern.

The 19 year old was found dead at his friend's house on New Year's Eve.

Detectives say he was punched in the head outside a pub in Omagh Co. Tyrone, and then assaulted again as he was waiting for a taxi back to Emyvale, in Co Monaghan, in the early hours of Monday morning, December 31st.

Five men - two aged 21, and the others aged 19, 18 and 17, were last night charged with affray. They are appearing in court today.
