Five people have been shot at a subway station in Brooklyn, New York.
New York City Fire Department said 13 people were also injured.
Fire personnel responding to reports of smoke at the 36th Street station in the Sunset Park found multiple people shot and undetonated devices.
According to local media, shots were fired at the 36th Street Station at around 8:30am local time (13:30 Irish time).

The New York City Police Department said there are no active explosive devices at this time.
It warned the public to stay away from the area and urged any witnesses to contact police.
NBC New York reports that a man was spotted throwing a device in the Brooklyn subway station and before opening fire.
It is believed he was dressed in construction gear.
