Gardaí investigating alleged assault of taxi driver in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the alleged assault of a taxi driver after a dashcam video of an apparent attack went viral on social media.

A video that has been shared hundreds of times on social media shows a passenger in a car repeatedly using a racial slur and attempting to punch a driver.

A timestamp on the video indicates it happened at around 9:30pm on Easter Sunday.

House prices near DART and Luas stops in Dublin are now €129,000 more expensive than the average asking price in the capital, a new Daft.ie report has found.

The average asking price in Dublin is €383,000.

However, that rises to €512,000 - a 34% premium - for properties closer to main transport stops.
