Trump steps into North Korea during meeting with Kim Jong Un

Donald Trump has become the first sitting US president to step into North Korea.

He has met the country's leader Kim Jong Un for the first time since talks between the pair over denuclearisation broke down in February.

The two men shook hands and exchanged words as President Trump entered the country briefly from the demilitarised zone (DMZ) at the border between South Korea and the North.

Ana Kriégel's parents have planted a tree in memory of the murdered schoolgirl in Co Kildare.

They attended a ceremony on the grounds of Leixlip Manor Hotel on Saturday evening, also unveiling a bench in her memory.

The bench features a plaque stating: "Forever loved. Forever cherished. Ana Kriégel."

Baby delivered after pregnant woman stabbed to death in south London

A woman who was around eight months pregnant has been stabbed to death in south London.

Her baby survived and was delivered at the scene, but is now in a critical condition in hospital.

Police have named the woman who was murdered as 26-year-old Kelly Mary Fauvrelle.

Tens of thousands take part in Dublin Pride celebrations

Tens of thousands of people attended events as part of Dublin Pride festival on Saturday.

Glitter and rainbow flags had been lining the streets and shop windows in recent days and weeks ahead of the main event.

The centrepiece celebration was the Pride parade, which set off from O’Connell Street at 1pm on Saturday.
