Flooding in many parts of Cork has now receded with diversion's now lifted in some areas.
Parts of the city were left impassable after high tide caused the River Lee to overflow earlier today.
Some homes in the Proby's Quay of the city were evacuated as a result.
The AA says flooding on the Pier Road in Kinsale and in Cobh and Carrigaline has receded and diversions have been lifted.

Meanwhile, parts of the country are braced for stormy weather condition's overnight.
Met Éireann has issued an orange wind alert for Connacht along with Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
High winds will range from 65 to 90 kilometres an hour in some parts with gusts of up to 130.
