A former official of Anglo Irish Bank has appeared before Dublin District Court charged with Revenue offences.

Aoife Maguire of Rothe Abbey, South Circular Road, Kilmainham in Dublin was arrested this morning by detectives from the Garda Fraud Squad.

She has been remanded on bail until later this month when she is due to appear alongside two former executives who are facing similar charges.

The State solicitor told the court their cases have no "factual connection" to the Anglo trial that is being heard before Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
