The man behind one of the biggest leaks in US political history has revealed his identity.
Former CIA technical assistant, Edward Snowden admits he told the Guardian newspaper about a secret US Government surveillance programme.
The newspaper's revealing the 29-year-old's identity at his own request.
In an interview produced for the Guardian by journalists Glenn Greenwald and Laura Poitras - Mr Snowden says he has nothing to hide:
