A new documentary, due to arrive on Netflix this Spring, claims to "expose the truth" behind the deaths of rap icons Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G.
Murder Rap: Inside the Biggie and Tupac Murders features interviews with former LAPD detective Greg Kading, and according to the Huffington Post, he claims that the case was re-opened in 2006 to look into the murders.
Kading states that he believes P. Diddy hired Crips gang member Duane Keith “Keffe D” Davis to kill Shakur and his manager, Marion Hugh “Suge” Knight for $1 million. On September 7th, 1996, Shakur was killed in a shooting, while his manager escaped unharmed.
Keffe’s nephew Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, who died in 1998, was a person of interest in the investigations into the crime, but was never charged.
Kading alleges that just six months later, Knight approached Wardell “Poochie” Fouse, a associate of his, to assassinate Biggie Smalls in retaliation.
Sean "P. Diddy" Combs has yet to respond to the Huffington Post when asked to comment on the issue.
