A former X Factor and Voice of Ireland contestant, has appeared in court on two charges of improper use of public communications network.
Model and singer Jolene Burns, who made it through to the bootcamp stage of X Factor in 2011, was charged this week in connection with a smear campaign against a former friend. She allegedly called the individual, "the creepiest person on this planet" on Facebook.
The Belfast woman is alleged to have posted a photo of a male former friend, branding him a 'creep' and a 'stalker.'
In one of her posts, she is accused of writing:
"Warning! This guy is the creepiest person on this planet. Be aware people as he has been stalking me, taking pictures of my child and posting threw (sic) my letter box ... perverted or what."
The post continued: "Nothing more than a perverted creep. If anyone knows or sees this guy stay away. He is nothing but a perverted b******".
It has also been claimed that she had to switch homes and jobs due because of the man.
