Four men have been arrested after two vehicles were stopped and searched in Dublin and found to contain half a million euro worth of cannabis.

The searches were carried out in the Coolock/Santry area.

The men, aged 27, 30 36 and 58 are being held at Ballymun and Coolock Garda stations.

Follow up searches are underway, involving the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Unit.
