Four people have been arrested and a “large quantity of stolen property” seized by Gardaí as part of a “day of action" in Trim, County Meath.
Gardaí launched the action yesterday, targeting counterfeit currency, drug pushing and nationwide theft.
The Garda Dog Unit assisted officers in carrying out the searches at ten properties around the town.
Customs and excise personnel were also involved.
Gardaí said the searches turned up a range of suspected stolen items – including power tools, a caravan, catalytic convertors and a bicycle.
A small quantity of cocaine and three cans of pepper spray were also seized.
Two vehicles were seized after they were tested for the illegal use of fuel.
An Audi car was also seized under road traffic legislation.
