4 more people have died from a new strain of bird flu in China. It brings the number of deaths from the H7N9 virus to 31.
Among the deaths two happened in the eastern province of Jiangsu, one was from eastern Zhejiang and another was from central Anhui.
Chinese health authorities said two new infections were reported in the eastern coastal province of Fujian, bringing the total number of infections to 129.
The World Health Organization (WHO) says it has no evidence that the new strain of bird flu is easily transmissible between humans.
Chinese scientists have confirmed that the H7N9 strain has been transmitted to humans from chickens. But the WHO has said 40% of people infected with strain appear to have had no contact with poultry.
