Three people have been arrested by Gardaí investigating a crime spree spanning seven counties.
Gardaí said the arrests were linked to recent burglaries at homes and businesses in Roscommon and offences in Westmeath, Cavan, Meath, Offaly, Dublin and Kildare.
This morning, Gardaí arrested one boy and two men in their 40s in connection with the burglaries.
Gardaí originally said four people had been arrested; however, they clarified the number in a later update.
They are being held at Garda statins in the northwest of the country.
The investigation involves gardaí from Longford, Cavan, Meath, Kildare and Dublin.
