Gardaí have arrested a fourth person in connection with the murder of John Gibson in Tallaght in September 2017.

The 28-year-old fitness instructor died after he was shot a number of times at the Citywest Shopping Centre at Fortunestown Lane in Tallaght.

Gardaí have been investigating whether the death was connected to a gangland feud in the west Dublin area.

A man in his late 20s was arrested this morning in relation to the investigation.

He is being held at Tallaght Garda Station.

It is the fourth arrest over the killing.

Last month two men in their 20s and a 23-year-old woman were arrested.
