The full wording of the long-awaited Children’s Right’s Referendum will be published later.
Yesterday the government confirmed that the Referendum will be held on Saturday November 10th.
The new adoption legislation will also be published today while a Referendum Commission will also be established.
The Children’s Minister had insisted last month that the referendum will be held this Autumn as promised.
The comments came from Frances Fitzgerald after Fianna Fail expressed concern that the wording of the Constitutional amendment has not yet been published.
The party also said it was worried that a rushed referendum may lead to the public being badly informed.
Leading campaigners had been calling for sufficient time for debate ahead of any vote.
Enda Kenny said yesterday the government intends to mount a vigorous campaign.
