Funding for the office of the Data Commissioner has been doubled.

Minister of State for European Affairs and Data Protection Dara Murphy announced the additional resources after the publication of the Revised Estimates for 2015 this afternoon.

A total of 3.65 million euro has been allocated to the office for 2015.
