The funeral mass will be held today for a priest who was a key figure in Northern Ireland's peace process.
Father Alec Reid, who died in a Dublin hospital last week, acted as a go-between and carried messages between the IRA and politicians.
The priest (82) famously tried to save two soldiers shot dead in West Belfast by the IRA in 1988 and a photo of him giving them the last rites while leaning over their bloodied bodies became world famous.
