An "appropriate Garda presence" will be in place for the funeral of Noel Duggan this morning.
The 56-year-old was shot dead as he sat in his car outside his home in Ratoath last week.
It is believed that he was murdered because of his connection to the feuding Hutch gang and his friendship with Gerry 'The Monk'' Hutch.
His mass will take place at the Holy Trinity Church in Ratoath at 11am and Gardaí say that an "appropriate Garda presence" will be in place for the ceremony.
