The funeral of 20-year-old Joshua Itseli, who was shot earlier this month, will take place in Dublin today.
The funeral service takes place this morning at 10am at Cunningham's Funeral Home Clonsilla, followed by a burial in Mulhuddart Cemetery.
Mr Itseli was shot multiple times in Drimnagh following a crash involving two cars on May 6th
Gardaí recovered an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle close to the crime scene and believe it to be the murder weapon.
A Mercedes Benz and a Volkswagen Golf were discovered crashed while several other vehicles were damaged.
A silver Ford Focus found nearby was identified as a vehicle of interest.
Gardaí also soon became aware that a potential explosive device had been discovered in the Knocknarea Court housing estate and alerted the Army Explosive Ordnance Explosive (EOD) team.
The device was made safe, removed from the scene, and will be subject to further technical exam.
Some three people were arrested concerning the incident but have since been released.
Justice Minister Helen McEntee has condemned the shooting in Drimnagh, describing it as "completely unacceptable."
