The GAA is calling for unions at Irish Rail to return to talks and "see sense" over work stoppages scheduled for both All Ireland final days.
National Bus and Rail Union and SIPTU workers at the company have announced four days of stoppage in the coming weeks. It's set to begin with a 48-hours stoppage by NBRU members from Sunday August 24th, which is the same day as the football semi-final between Mayo and Kerry.
Further stoppages are planned on both All-Ireland final days, September 7th and 21st.
Irish Rail says the pay cuts at the centre of the dispute must go ahead, and it can't guarantee any of its services will run on the dates.
Alan Milton is the Head of Media Relations at the GAA. He is calling for the unions to avoid disruption on All-Ireland final days, and hopes "people will see sense" after the first semi-final.
