Colonel Gadaffi's son has been extradited to Libya and taken to a prison.

Saadi Gaddafi had fled to neighbouring Niger during the NATO-backed Libyan uprising in 2011.

He's wanted by Libya over allegations of taking property by force and alleged armed intimidation.

Saadi Gaddafi has arrived home to Tripoli.

"The Libyan government received today Saadi Gaddafi and he arrived in Tripoli," the cabinet of Prime Minister Ali Zeidan said in a statement.
