Gardaí have arrested another man in connection with the violent death of another man in Finglas, Dublin.

The body of Vincent Maher (29) was found in the bedroom of his apartment on the Wellmount Road in Finglas on Saturday morning.

Detectives haven't released post mortem details, however it is understood he had suffered a violent death.

A man in his 20s was detained in the Finglas area yesterday evening, and is being held for questioning at the local garda station under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

He can be held for up to three days before being charged or released.
