Gardai investigating the theft of a jeep-containing veterinary drugs in Galway are appealing to the public to be vigilant.

The black coloured Toyota Landcruiser with partial registration number -131 CE- was taken from the Dublin Road in Loughrea yesterday sometime between 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon and 11 o'clock last night.

The jeep contained veterinary drugs and products - including Kettamine, Xylazine and Butorphanol which gardai say are considered extremely dangerous and not fit for human consumption.

Anyone with information is asked to contact gardai.
