A man has been arrested after Gardaí were involved in a car chase in County Meath yesterday.
Investigators said the driver failed to stop for officers on patrol in Navan at around 2pm yesterday.
Gardaí said officers launched a “managed pursuit” of the vehicle which eventually stopped in a housing estate in the area.
During the chase, the vehicle allegedly “collided with an unmarked Garda car a number of times.”
A man in his 20s was arrested a short distance away and was taken to Navan Garda Station.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before Trim District Court next month.
Nobody was injured during the chase.
