An investigation is underway after a man was injured in a suspected gangland-related attack in Clondalkin in Dublin yesterday evening.
The injured man was rushed to hospital after staggering into a local garda station with gunshot wounds.

The victim, a man aged in his 30s, was shot several times on the grounds of a church at Bawnogue Road in Clondalkin.
He somehow managed to drive to Clondalkin garda station and staggered inside at around 6:15pm before collapsing in front of the public desk.

An ambulance was called and he was taken to Tallaght Hospital where he is being treated for gunshot wounds to the neck and body.
Bawnogue Church, Clondalkin garda station and part of Tower Road have all been sealed off for forensic examination.
It is understood the injured man was well known to gardaí who are following definite lines of inquiry.
