Gardaí are on the hunt for two men who are said to have tied up a hostel worker in Dublin's north inner city during an aggravated burglary overnight.
It happened at a hostel on Granby Row at around 2am.
It is understood the young mother was closing up the hostel when she was approached by two masked men who tied her up and demanded cash.
It is alleged they made certain threats about her children before making off with some money.
The woman managed to free herself and raise the alarm.
She was not injured in the attack but is said to have been traumatised by what happened.
Crime scene investigators are due to comb the hostel for clues that might help them identify the raiders.
In the meantime, gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at around 2am this morning to contact Store Street Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111.
