Gardaí say that a missing Co Cork man has been found and is safe.

Gardaí had earlier appealed for the public's help in their search for John Joe O'Sullivan. They have thanked the public and media for their assistance.

The 68-year-old had last seen in Fermoy at around half past five on Thursday evening.
