Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of missing man Martin Heffernan.

Martin (49) was last seen on Friday 11th March at St James's Hospital in Dublin.

Mr Heffernan lives in Chester in England, but is originally from Co Tipperary. He is described as 6'1'', with short brown hair and clean shaven.

He is said to have a slight limp, and wears glasses.

When last seen, Martin was wearing a black suit, black shoes and a light-coloured shirt. He was also carrying a back pack.

Gardaí are appealing for anybody with information on Martin's whereabouts to contact Kilmainham Garda Station on 01-666-9700 or the Garda Confidential line on 1800-666-111.
