A Garda has been injured and a number of vehicles damaged during an incident in west Dublin.
A number of incidents of dangerous driving and reckless endangerment were seen at a funeral in the Ballyfermot area on Monday morning.
While intervening in one of these incidents, a Garda was struck with a missile and subsequently received medical treatment.
Two Garda vehicles, a Community Policing Patrol Car and a Marked Patrol Car also received "significant damage."
Two men were arrested on the Kylemore Road in relation to the incidents of dangerous driving and two motorbikes were seized.
Both men were taken to Garda stations in south Dublin and have since been released, pending a file to the DPP.
A policing plan remains in place in the area to ensure the safety of local residents, Gardaí have said.
Investigations are ongoing.
