Two men have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a post office in Clondalkin in Dublin.

It happened shortly after 11 O'clock this morning at the Mill Shopping Centre when two men threatened staff with a gun.

They fled the scene with a substantial amount of cash.

Two suspects have arrested and are being held at Clondalkin garda station, where they can be questioned for up to 72 hours.
