Gardaí are investigating a raid on a cash van in Tallaght, Dublin this morning.

The incident happened at Cheeverstown LUAS station at around 8am when a man held up a cash in transit van.

The raider escaped with a small amount of money.

A car, believed to be the getaway vehicle, was found burnt out a short distance away.

Gardaí in Tallaght are investigating.

Earlier this week, two men were arrested over a seperate robbery on a cash van on Fortunestown Way, Tallaght last October.
