Gardai are investigating after shots were fired at a house on the south-side of Dublin overnight. There is an appeal for witnesses after the home was singled out.
The gun attack happened on the Upper Rathmines Road at around 12:45am this morning.
A number of shots were fired through the window of a house.

It is understood there were people inside, but no-one was injured.
Gardai have sealed off the scene this morning as they wait on a forensic team to conduct a technical examination.
