Gardaí are investigating the armed robbery of a Permanent TSB branch in Dublin.
Just after half one this afternoon two men entered the bank on the corner of Baggot Street - one was armed with what is described as a handgun while the other was carrying a crowbar.
They threatened staff and left with a sum of money but no one was injured during the incident.
The men fled the scene on foot in the direction Haddington Road/Percy Place where it is believed they may have fled in an unidentified vehicle.
One is is described as 5 foot 11 in height wearing a hi-visibility jacket with a black woolly hat and white painters mask, the second raider is described as 5 foot 9 inches and wearing a black builders jacket with grey florescent stripes, a black woolly hat with black scarf over his face.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have seen either man to contact them at Irishtown Garda Station.
