A man in his early thirties has been arrested after two males in their late 20's were found with serious stab wounds on the road at Rathsallagh Park at approximately 5.30am.

The men were then taken by ambulance to St. Vincents Hospital.

One of the males was pronounced dead shortly after 8 O Clock and the second remains in a serious condition.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.

Gardai wish to appeal for witnesses that may have been in or around Rathsallagh Park this morning to contact Shankill Garda Station on 01-6665900.
