Gardaí investigating the murder of a man in Dublin are awaiting the results of DNA tests as part of the inquiry.
The man, who has not yet been formally identified, is believed to have been in his 40s and was found dead at a house on Glendhu Road in Cabra.
It is reported today he had sustained head injuries, and a murder investigation was formally launched after a post mortem was completed on his remains.

The investigation is also looking to determine how long the man had been dead before being found on Sunday.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
